![]() It’s kinda sad, I don’t know him well but Wertpol just seemed like a chill guy who liked making games. So basically I wanted to make this post to update anyone who liked his games. So I googled his name and all I found was his youtube channel, failed kickstarters, reddit account and small games. I thought I was the only one who didn’t hear about it. I joined Wertpol’s discord where it was announced back in June that he committed suicide. It was a huge wtf to me and wondered what happened to the guy. It started with the Presentable Liberty wiki, where the first line said the creator passed away. I looked up the game’s creator, Wertpol, to see if he made any games since. ![]() That game was really good and I randomly thought about it today. I remember watching jacksepticeye playing Presentable Liberty 4 years ago. I just wanted to share to anyone who was interested in his games. “Presentable Liberty” and “Exoptable Money”, Robert Brock, or Wertpol /u/Wertpol, died in June 2018. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch Presentable Liberty, developed by Wertpol in 2014 and free to play, tells the story of a prisoner in a cell with sparse interaction from the outside world save for the ticking of a clock and letters from someone the prisoner knows, someone they don’t know, and the staff from the prison itself./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
